This design features twelve organically forged copper rods reaching upwards to carefully cradle and support three fine silver orbs — each representing the Arts, Business, and Arts & Business NI organisation.
Silver is used to capture the preciousness of the Arts and Business sectors within Northern Ireland. It is juxtaposed with the copper, which symbolises the growth and determination of people to achieve their goals. Over time the copper of the trophy will naturally oxidise, darkening in colour and increasingly contrasting with the silver.
Each trophy has been handcrafted in my workshop nestled at the foot of the Mourne Mountains using traditional silversmithing equipment and techniques.
